The number one question people ask about OfficeZilla.com is about data security. Just how secure is data stored on the OfficeZilla.com service? Encrypted database data is decrypted on a different server then where it is stored. Files and email attachments are stored outside of web readable directories. Each file is stored in its own randomly numbered directory. Files and email attachments are sent to the browser with a special component that can read in these non-web readable directories and sends the file only to authenticated user(s). Each OfficeZilla account has a "top level" administrator who can add users and assign administrative priviliges to each. Each OfficeZilla account data is available to the Intranets users based upon groups. Data is assigned to a group, users are assigned to groups, users cannot see data in groups they are not in. We operate our own private datacenter. This increases security in that OfficeZilla servers are not with hundreds of "other" datacenter customer servers.
