What a waste of money...

I bought mine from Home Depot, kept it in the package for a few months before I needed it. It lasted exactly 1 charge cycle on 2 of the original batteries. Tried to use it again to charge 2 more and it just blinks red/green twice and then nothing. Had to buy an energizer charger. At least I've got 4 batteries.

Junk. Failed and destroyed my rechargeable batteries.

Flashing red light!

I use this charger/batteries only for my wireless mouse which takes two AA batteries. Will run the mouse for about a month, which is good. However, after about a year some of the batteries would not charge (flashing red light) so I bought another one and now after less than a year the red light is flashing for those batteries. I don't know if the problem is with the batteries or the charger but I am going to have to purchase another charger and batteries again. The claim is that the batteries can be recharged 400 times -- I would be happy with 20.

Read this if red blinking

This charger is sensitive to those who pur batteries in wrong, I know how can you put them in wrong you just shove them in right, no you got to be careful to get right pressure point. For some reason this charger requires you to get it just right, if it blinks just turn it off place the batteries in again, should only take a couple of attempts to find the sweet spot, hope this helps

Happy at First, Only to be Letdown

When i first bought the rechargeable batteries and charger, i was a little on the fence about how i was going to like it. After the first few times, i was amazed on how long the batteries lasted and continued being able to hold a good charge. But it didsn't take long for my excitement to come to a halt when the charger just completely stopped working. All i can get is a solids red light for a few seconds, followed by flashing red lights. I do not believe it is the batteries themselves, because they where working great and hadn't been put into any type of extreme situations. Its a shame that something that worked so well ended up becoming useless due to cheap manufacturing of a component.....

Works great for kidss toys, flashlights, electronic

After I used a 1000 series for several months, I bought a 1000 series charger with batteries for both of my sons. They kept getting my batteries. These last a long time and work great in flashlights and electronics.

Not Bad

Had these for about a year before 2 of the batteries wouldn't charge anymore.

Just got this package and on the pre-charge, they lasted 1.5 weeks in my Oculus Touch Controllers which is pretty good. I just gave them their first charge and the charger seems to work well. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because of the manual, the writing is so small that us older folks with weak eyes have trouble reading it. Having a Link to an online PDF manual on the product page would be fantastic, I can't find a PDF manual for this charger anywhere on this (Duracell) site.

Not Sure If the Charger is Working???

been 9 years since I have had to buy a new set of rechargeables - went with Duracell because of all the ones I bought back then the Duracells are still going, but defiantly on their way out - just bought these new AA ion 1000. However, I plugged the charger into the wall, it flashed red then nothing. Can't tell what the status is. Also can I use a different charger? Do you have a doc or pdf with the instructions online? Thanks

Input Voltage for the Charger

I bought the Duracell Rechargeable is 1000 (with 4 AA battery). Looked all over on the packing many times, but couldn't find the Input Voltage supported by the Charger. My old Duracell Charger clearly shows on the label for 100-240v. What's the "Input Volt" this Duracell Rechargeable is 1000 (with 4 AA battery) Charger support? I will travel overseas where they have 240v input volt, can this Charger be used overseas? Why this kind of important Spec is not on the product packing? I looked up on your website, it's not here either. Why? Where can customers find this type of important information when they decidse if they should buy it? Again, the old Duracell's older version Charger I bought many years ago had that info on the packing, why the new version is getting worse than the old one? The old Charger I had is very reliable, but now I see a lot of negative reviews on this 1000 Charger and get really nervous...

Musician rocks all night with Duracell

Made the switch over a year ago and never looking back. Always load freshly recharged batteries in my in ears, wireless transmitter and acoustic guitars. Without a doubt these batteries and charger rock all night. I recharge my alternates during the gig so I'm good to go the next night.

I should have done my homework and looked at reviews for Duracell products specifically the recharger Model 1000. All I see is blinking red lights and I've unplugged the charger removed the batteries and then inserted the batteries and plugged the charger back in and all I see is flashing red lights. Batteries are fine...charger sucks. Come on...your battery should be making the best charger to go along with your great batteries!

Does it ever blink green?

It worked for the first day or two and now I only get blinking red or solids red. And the AAA don't really sit well so you know you're getting a firm hold.

Gets to hot. Heat kills eletronics.

Gets to hot. Heat kills electronics. Duracell knows this. The faster your batteries die for good the better so you have to buy more of their batteries! Does NOT have Independent Charging Slots. Does NOT have Accurate voltage detection that ensures no over-charging and under-charging. Does NOT have a intellectual cut-off charging method that automatically turns to trickle charge.
